Structural Steel Detailing

We have a team of drafters specialising in providing detail drawings for use in the fabrication of structural steel. We are involved in projects located through Australia and overseas. NQ CAD Products has been serving the steel fabrication industry since incorporation.

NQ CAD Products produces detail drawings to the format recommended by the Australian Institute of Steel Construction and the relevant Australian Standards.

We also have experience in overseas contracts using steel sections and construction standards from the country of origin.

Structural steel workshop fabrication drawings are produced in both 2D and 3D AutoCAD and Prosteel/Autoplant compatible formats. Standard documentation includes: H.D. Bolts, Purlin/girt schedules, Bolt lists, Drawing Register, Detailed structural steel component drawings, plate & cleat cutting lists.

We can easily provide you with detailed renders, basic wire frame images and CAD files using your ideas to develop precise 3D models for analysis, conceptual design, and manufacturing. Our staff will translate the free hand sketches and CAD drawings into real 3D renders. All of this is done according to your wants and needs.

Whether it be standard RHS stringers, custom PFC or a mono stringer we can produce engineering and/or fabrication drawings for steel stairs, handrails and platforms. We are experienced at detailing, webforge, monowills or custom hand railing and platform systems.

Our project experience ranges from a single domestic house beam to complex mining and commercial buildings 350t plus.
